Chiropractors are doctors of chiropractic. To become licensed, chiropractors complete a similar educational process as medical doctors, finishing several years of school in addition to passing exams and meeting practice standards. The educational requirements of chiropractors are among the most rigorous in the health care field.

During an adjustment, our chiropractor gently manipulates a patient's spine, restoring the spine's proper alignment. This allows information from the brain to flow freely through the nervous system, while simultaneously increasing circulation and reducing muscle tension and inflammation.

Most patients experience relief - not pain - during an adjustment. Some patients might experience slight discomfort during an adjustment, usually followed by reduced pain and mental clarity.

When performed by a licensed chiropractor, adjustments are one of the safest treatment methods available. Non-invasive and drug-free, chiropractic care provides an effective alternative to risky surgeries and side effect-inducing medications.

Chiropractic care is most commonly recognized as a back pain treatment. Chiropractic care, however, can alleviate and eliminate the symptoms associated with several conditions such as backpain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, whiplash, auto-accident, work and sports injuries, herniated discs, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sciatica. Chiropractic can even relieve conditions like allergies and asthma by strengthening the immune system.

Each patient and each condition is unique, and requires a different number of treatments to reach desired wellness goals. All patients, however, experience some level of relief and improvement after the first adjustment

A chiropractic adjustment requires no special clothing. Though our chiropractor recommends non-bulky, loose-fitting clothing for the patient's comfort, patients may wear any type of clothing during an adjustment.
